Sometimes, things don’t turn out like they should.
Sometimes, your dreams change or disappear.
Sometimes, the aspirations of yesterday get middles in the chaos of today.
Yet, there is still Hope, and it can find a way.
Just take a moment to breathe.
Just take a second to relax
Just step back from all the confusion and deeply exhale.
Just remember, there is a God who can shelter you in the gale.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” John 14:27
How can you bring peace when you’re full of anxiety?
How did you bring Hope when you’re hopeless?
How can you bring courage when you’re fearful?
We are His ambassadors!
We are to bring His message to this fallen world.
Have we forgotten our place?
Have we forgotten our calling?
Rise up! Take your place!
This place is a disaster because the church is a disaster.
We have just as much divorce, drugs, anxiety, etc., as the world has.
This should not be.
He called us out to be separate, a royal priesthood, set a part for His will and His way.
We’ve spent too much time trying to fit in, to conform to the norm.
Rise up! Stand your ground!
Our fight is not against flesh and blood.
We have forgotten our enemy while he has lulled us to sleep.
We have grown lazy in our opinions and agendas, forgetting Whose opinion matters most.
We’ve got to return to our calling.
We’ve got to return to the mountain.
Don’t shutter because He’s mighty.
Praise because He’s holy.
Worship because He’s gracious.
Shout because He is merciful and just.
We serve a King not a people.
We are an army to storm the gates of hell not lie in the puddles of our own ambitions and desires.
Rise up! Take your place in the kingdom of God!
This world is desperate for a Savior.
Can you hear Him calling?
Can you hear their cries?
How can you ignore it?
Why do you walk away?
If you do not fight now, you will lose the very things you clinched so tightly.
They are like sand sifting through your hand.
We are Ambassadors of Christ.
Grasp the things of His kingdom.
Seek Him first.
Chase Him, church.
Arise, oh daughters and sons! Arise!
Take your place and reap the harvest!
“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20
Friday Fun Day came a day late this week as I battled not feeling well throughout the days, and then, our oldest asked me to take him and his little crew of friends to the mountains yesterday.
Oh what a beautiful day to end a dreary, rainy, sickness filled week.
Sometimes, things don’t happen in the timeline we’d prefer, but nevertheless, don’t let that stop the fun!
If you didn’t get your Friday Fun Day this week, you’ve still got time. Get out and smell the roses. Chase a waterfall. Soak up some sun.
Take a deep breath and breathe it all in.
Remember:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. (Author unknown)
💜 There was a girl who got through the day with routines, laughter. and some memes...chores, laughs, smiles, and some cats...food, naps, plus coffee too...then yoga for the win... a warm bath, some books, and You Tube📺-hdtj💜
My journey didn’t stop with mere time travel or writing; it led me to become one of the most sought-after empaths, a soulful psychic who reads the hidden depths of the human spirit. I’ve been blessed—or perhaps burdened—with an ability that allows me to feel the emotions of people from every corner of time.
I am a licensed psychologist based in Greece. My love for housekeeping has inspired me to create this blog about home management and family relationships. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing!
Dedicated to movie nerdom, nostalgia, and escape. In the late 90s, I worked at Blockbuster Video where they let me take home two free movies a day. I caught up on the classics and reviewed theatrical releases for Denver 'burbs newspapers and magazines. Today, while raising two young, beautiful daughters with my amazing wife, I look forward to anything rated R and not Bluey. Comments and dialogue encouraged!
