Funny Friday

Little did I know you all of my life
The stories I was told don’t measure up
The man I once knew and who you were before
Full of life and love and joy and friendly fans
Full of anger and sorrow and shame and brokenness
The man I once knew and who you had become
The stories I was told are so much more
Little did I know you all of my life
War and betrayal can change a soul in ways that can’t be undone.
Yet, I am thankful to have seen a glimpse of what once was and one day, what will be forever more.
I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the richesof his glorious inheritance in his holy people
Ephesians 1:16-18

These are kind of sassy together; so, I thought s we’d give ya two today… a double funny Friday. lol.

The little girl gets bullied.
You watch. You wait. Your turn away.
Your silence screams.
The young man fights to be seen.
You shield your eyes from sight.
Your silence screams.
The new mom struggles to care.
You glance away as she stumbles.
Your silence screams.
You claim you love.
You defend your stance and your stare.
Your silence screams beyond your words.
When will you see that words matter, but silence is an earthquake.
Can you see them?
Do you hear their cries?
Don’t let the moment pass for your comfort to remain.
Don’t turn a blind eye simply to avoid the attention.
The life is before you. The moment now.
Don’t let it fade believing you won’t give account.
For your silence will scream into eternity your blame.

My journey didn’t stop with mere time travel or writing; it led me to become one of the most sought-after empaths, a soulful psychic who reads the hidden depths of the human spirit. I’ve been blessed—or perhaps burdened—with an ability that allows me to feel the emotions of people from every corner of time.

Dedicated to movie nerdom, nostalgia, and escape. In the late 90s, I worked at Blockbuster Video where they let me take home two free movies a day. I caught up on the classics and reviewed theatrical releases for Denver 'burbs newspapers and magazines. Today, while raising two young, beautiful daughters with my amazing wife, I look forward to anything rated R and not Bluey. Comments and dialogue encouraged!
