I thought I might do something a little different today…
I just wanted to share a little of my world through the eyes of a camera lens…
Her majestic mountains once rose above the clouds;
They once challenged men to climb her rugged stairs to bow.
Her magnificent waterfalls once dropped deep into the valley;
They once inspired men to race down her rocky waves to rally.
Her awesome wildlife once soared above or scurried below;
They once entranced men to follow her and reap what they’ve sown.
These men have come and abused her rugged land.
They have crumbled her majestic mountains to form contraband.
These men have come and drained her waterways.
They have closed her powerful rivers to produce longer days.
These men have come and devastated her wilderness.
They have destroyed her beautiful creatures to make a their money nest.
Because of this, America is in what we abide.
Man has taken over, ruled and abused her countryside.
They have caused her air to pollute, her animals to scatter and her flowers to wilt.
And still, many of them ask, “Why is America what she is today? …Upon what is this country built?”
Only time can show what we have produced, nurtured or half-baked.
Only you and I can change this and make improvements from our mistakes.
There is still hope to redeem this beautiful land.
There is still opportunity to protect her sacred sands.
We must awaken the passion. We must arise from our slumber.
We can change it, but we must first acknowledge out blunder.
Recognition is the first step to healing.
Healing is a process; it is never an instant revealing.
It is possible. We still have hope to survive.
We must redeem our heritage if we are ever again to thrive.

I look out over Your waters and behold
A reflection that could only be from You
So gentle, so calm, so peaceful
It reminds me of Your serenity
I look upon Your waterfalls and know
A strength that could only come from You
So strong, so bold, so powerful
It reminds me of Your awesomeness
I look into Your streams and visualize
An image that could only be given from You
So humble, so meek, so merciful
It reminds me of Your purity
I look out on Your mountains and see
A creation that could only be made from You
So vast, so immense, so beautiful
It reminds me of Your majesty
I look upon Your peaks and understand
A faith that could only be from You
So wondrous, so hopeful, so believing
It reminds me of Your faithfulness
I look into Your foothills and recognize
An adventure that could only come from You
So energizing, so exciting, so invigorating
It reminds me of Your passion
Then I look at Your Son and realize
A love that could only be of You
So amazing, so overwhelming, so inviting
It reminds me of Your grace
Thank You.

My journey didn’t stop with mere time travel or writing; it led me to become one of the most sought-after empaths, a soulful psychic who reads the hidden depths of the human spirit. I’ve been blessed—or perhaps burdened—with an ability that allows me to feel the emotions of people from every corner of time.

Dedicated to movie nerdom, nostalgia, and escape. In the late 90s, I worked at Blockbuster Video where they let me take home two free movies a day. I caught up on the classics and reviewed theatrical releases for Denver 'burbs newspapers and magazines. Today, while raising two young, beautiful daughters with my amazing wife, I look forward to anything rated R and not Bluey. Comments and dialogue encouraged!
