*I know it’s Wednesday, but ‘better late than never,’ right? Ha!😂

We have ordered the Shrimp and Grit Bowl, the Southwest Chicken Skillet, the Classic Burger, the wings and the Chili Dog. As you can see from these choices, it’s basically a high scale sports bar menu, but they do it with style and class.
The Shrimp Bowl is delicious, although I order the chorizo on the side, simply because I think chorizo is a bit of a bully. The dish begins to taste more like chorizo than what else is in the bowl. The grits could be a bit more creamier for my liking, but this bowl is very tasty.
The wings, chili dog, burger do not disappoint. There are endless ways you can order each of these, and we’ve had several that have been wonderful.
The Southwest Chicken Skillet is bountiful enough to share for two people, maybe if you don’t have an over eager appetite. We got an appetizer, and I wasn’t able to finish my skillet with it’s piles of chicken, kale rice, jalapeños, cheese and black beans (and I don’t eat black beans).
This is a great little dive for a friendly lunch or casual date. I’m not sure I’d worry about getting too romantic here, unless sports programs and rock and roll music is your thing, but we love it. … And when my husband and I are alone together, it’s a romantic date no matter where we are!
Nice post – Linda gave me the link because she was telling me about this cool pretzel appetizer – 😉

And, a shout-out to the pretzel baker – what a fun way to share a big pretzel appetizer. I wanted a bite of that pretzel!

That’s exactly what I thought! We’ve ordered that pretzel several times over just because of the fun presentation…and of course, it is tasty, too!

I’ve never seen anything like that before – great presentation! There was this diner that was popular a few years ago and has since closed, but they had a really different way of giving you an order of onion rings. There was a plate on the bottom and attached in the middle was a tall spindle … they would stack the onion rings onto that spindle, with the biggest ones on the bottom, to a tiny one on the top. It was one order and it came with this wonderful horseradish/tomato dip. Mmmmm.

Yep, there’s a franchise chain, Cheddar’s, that does that as well. I’m not sure where all there’s a Cheddar’s. I do know they’re in Georgia, and they’re might be some in TN as well. 😊

I thought they were unique so this little place probably went to Cheddar’s and got the idea from them! Very cool though, just like the pretzel.

Yeah, or Cheddar’s went to that neat little place before they closed and took up the idea!! 😂😉

I glad I sent you Mia’s link – I salivate every Tuesday at Mia’s “Tuesday’s Treats” feature. 🙂 It’d be fund to recreate it at home. I cannot remember the last time I had a hot pretzel (the normal-sized variety) – it had to be at the mall at the “Hot Sam’s Stand” maybe 20 years ago.

Everything sounded good to me – I’ve only had grits one time and that was traveling through Georgia, but they weren’t as memorable as a stack of pancakes which lapped over the plate! I like the menu – looks like a very fun place.

Well, if you’re ever down in Georgia again, I’ll have to take you to one of the local places where the grits are amazing! 😉

I will hold you to that Mia! 🙂
