Yeah, some will look at this picture and recognize at first glance this sign is stupid, that there’s no wisdom in trying to jump this chasm with no ramp or expertise. Others would come up to this sign and believe with all their being this is the sign that will bring forth their destiny; if there’s just enough faith, this will be the day of change! Still, others will see this and “throw caution to the wind” and go for it with gusto!
Often, the truth of wisdom is shown in the tenacity within the mundane, the fortitude through the process of change and the ultimate risk of doing something completely out of routine.
The proof of Faith comes when it is joined with wisdom and it brings forth power and anointing.
The reality of stupidity comes when the choices made bring about calamity, failure and destruction.

Hello Future Self,
I pray this letter finds you well and full of life. I hope you have kept the faith and fought hard to keep it. I pray you have shared it with all those around you, leaving stepping stones of legacy all in your wake.
I do hope you have taken good care of your body, physically, mentally and emotionally. If you haven’t, there’s not better time than the present! Get busy living, or get busy dying! The moment you refuse to grow and change, you begin the slow decline of holding on and awaiting death. Don’t do that! LIVE and live life to the fullest!!
Always cherish those God places in your life, for you never know the moments which could be their last. Don’t live in the regrets of the past, just recognize what could’ve have been done differently, accept the mistakes for what they were and simply push forward to the promises of tomorrow. His Word is true, and it will never return void; so, hold onto it as a lifeline.
I know you will be a feisty older woman, full of beauty and grace, not because of some wealth you have obtained, nor because of some miracle of less wrinkles or aging than the next person. You will be a woman full of beauty and grace, because you will remember the Proverbs 31 woman and always seek to be more like her. Her beauty came from within and so does yours. Her grace came from above and so does yours.
For yesterday, today and tomorrow, “…seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matt. 6:33 Keep this as your life’s motto and all will be well. Added to this, “Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them…” These two Scriptures will take you on into eternity with so much grace and will leave behind a beautiful legacy for generations to come.
My prayer is for you and your man to still be madly in love and be living a joyful life here on this earth, but if those circumstances are different, I know you will be clinging to Jesus’ hand and trusting Him to take you onto glory when you will see him again.
“May The Lord bless you and keep you…May The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; May The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26 ❤

My rendition still stands:

Oops, So sorry for a delayed post! This is yesterday’s, and today’s will be post d at 11:00 am today. 😉

There is a “name game” we play, often, in settings with new people. You introduce yourself by using an adjective before your name, one that starts with the same letter as your name, to help people remember your name. I almost always use “Mindful Mia.” I would say that describes me a lot.
I am, probably, too mindful at times. 😂Haha. I am always thinking of my family, our church, what’s going on with others, what’s going on with me, what’s next, what do I need to plan, etc. If you’re not much of a planner and wish to be, you might can think that’s a good thing, but I can tell you, it’s not always. I have had to really get in a routine of “turning down the volume” in my head; so, I can clearly hear the most important voice, God’s. Well, that’s another post for another day which you can go read about. 😉
Yes, I would have to say the one word that describes me the most would be “mindful,” and even though, it can get me into trouble if/when I allow my strength to become my weakness, I wouldn’t change this aspect of myself. For, I know this is the way God created me, and in the good, the bad, and the ugly of it, He is still God if/when I allow Him to be. If I can help it, I will always work to allow Him to be God of my mindfulness; so, He can get all the glory from my life! 😊

Well, we said goodbye to Friday’s New Angle a few weeks ago, and I’ve been thinking about a new weekly event we could do on Fridays to bring a fun and fresh outlook… My apologies for the delay. I had planned to announce last Friday, but I was still deliberating in my mind what to do. 🙄
Now, I have decided, and I do hope you’ll like it and join in to become a part! Starting next Friday, just as I hosted 100 New Angles over the past (almost) 2 years, I will now host “Friday’s Friends.”
On Friday of each week, I will provide a link for a blogging “friend” I have found to be interesting, intriguing, or simply inviting. I will share with you what I have found and why I’ve chosen him or her. I may post more than one on a given Friday day, but it will be at the very least, one.
I hope this will bring some excitement, commonality and community within these pages, and I do hope YOU, the readers, will chime in from time to time. I would love to hear from you, hear who is one of your favorite bloggers, and maybe even feature one of you in my weekly finds! 😊 If the requests grow rapidly, I may not always be able to get to all, but if you will give me the liberty, I will share all those I am able.
Looking forward to launching this “friendliness” this time next week! Hope you will join me! 😉
I received this from WordPress last week, and I’m just now getting the chance to post a Thank You!! I do apologize for my delay, and I hope you know how deeply appreciative I am for each and every follow and kind word of encouragement you have so graciously given to me over the last two years! It means so very much! YOU are awesome!! THANK YOU!! 💗

This showed up in my notifications tonight, and I just wanted to say, “THANKS!”
It’s amazing that I’ve been blogging now for two years. This has been a really fun ride, and I look forward to many more. I have to say, “Thank you,” to all of you who have dropped by for a spell, become followers, or who have simply taken “a peek” at a post or two. This blog wouldn’t be what it is without your support and encouragement these past two years.
I have almost 500 followers, and to some, that’s not many at all; yet, for others, it may seem this too far out of reach. However, for me, this number is a joy to have at the two year mark, and hope-filled, I look for many more.
Thanks again. I sign off tonight with a full heart, reminiscing over the words of encouragement and love that have been sent my way during the last two years. I hope this blog has been as much of a blessing to you as it has been to me, and I look forward to many more (years and posts) to come. 💗
It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see
-D.H.Thoreau
Sometimes, your vision is everything…
What do you see when you look at people? What do you see when you are in the middle of chaos? What do you see when you are surrounded by those who have less than you or, maybe, who have more? What do you look at? What do you envision?
What you see makes up who you are. If you always see negative, you will tend to be a negative person. If you see hopelessness and despair, you are, most likely, a fearful person and you will have a tendency to either run away from problems or avoid anything that might appear a challenge. Yet, if you see hope and strength, you will have a tendency to be a fighter, a person who doesn’t give up too easily. If you see love and prosperity, you will tend to seek out those with whom you have camaraderie and with whom you can succeed.
What you see will determine where you end up in life. If you don’t see success, you’ll never achieve it. If you don’t see possibilities, you’ll never try. If you don’t see faith and integrity in others, you’ll never learn to trust and open up to another person. In order to have a dream realized, you must first see the goals needed to get to the dream. In order to have a goal achieved, you must first see the first step that is needed. In order to start on that path, you must be able to see those around you who can help you and guide you learn to walk.
You can look at people all day every day, but if you don’t see them, you’ll never be able to reach them, and you’ll never be able to learn from them. You can look at the places people go, or the successes they have and wish you were there; however, if you don’t see the sacrifices they made to get there, you will never know the cost you’ll need to pay. You’ll never see how many steps it will take, whom you will need to help and how long it may take to arrive.
What do you see?
Daily Prompt: VISION

I see you there
In the shadows
You think I can’t see
You believe I can’t hear
You are convinced I don’t care
Can I tell you, you were not abandoned?
I hear you there
In that broken corner
You wrap your arms around
You close your eyes from the light
You shield your heart from His adoration
Can I tell you, again, you have never been alone?
He loves you more than you can see
He cares even more than you can fathom
He’s been there longer than you can imagine
He created you before your mother knew
He loved you before the beginning of time
He never left from your side. He never abandoned you.
You will find Him in a song
You will find Him in a Book
You will find Him in a dream
You will find Him in a memory
Just open your eyes and open your heart
You will find Him if you will only believe

My journey didn’t stop with mere time travel or writing; it led me to become one of the most sought-after empaths, a soulful psychic who reads the hidden depths of the human spirit. I’ve been blessed—or perhaps burdened—with an ability that allows me to feel the emotions of people from every corner of time.

Dedicated to movie nerdom, nostalgia, and escape. In the late 90s, I worked at Blockbuster Video where they let me take home two free movies a day. I caught up on the classics and reviewed theatrical releases for Denver 'burbs newspapers and magazines. Today, while raising two young, beautiful daughters with my amazing wife, I look forward to anything rated R and not Bluey. Comments and dialogue encouraged!
