O’Shucks
Location: Loganville, Ga

If you’re looking for a great little seafood dive, and you’re miles and miles from the coast, check out O’Shucks. I promise you, you’ll be surprised! From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll feel like you walked into a little dockside restaurant on a He beach. The atmosphere is so fun!

The food is great! There are all kinds of seafood selections, and some that might just surprise you like redfish and conch fritters. We ordered bacon wrapped shrimp for the appetizer, the TNT burger, blackened redfish and chicken fingers. Yeah, we have some land lovers among us. 😂 Everything was delicious, and although, (obviously) I wouldn’t say it’s, “fresh right out of the sea” kind of seafood, it is still very delicious! Being from Florida, my craving for good seafood can be very disappointed while living inland Georgia; however, this place impressed me.
Now, for desserts, many of them are homemade. I ordered the apple pie this time, and it was decent, but when we go again, I am ordering their brownie ala mode. It is to die for!

So, if you’re stuck inland for awhile and have to get some good seafood at not the outrageous-fancy-place-prices, drive over to O’Shucks and give them a try! They have two locations: Winder and Loganville.

Small venue with robust flavor! This place isn’t very big; so, if you bring a crowd, you might want to come early or plan to eat on the patio. But if you’re in the mood for pizza, you won’t be disappointed. The friendly staff will be glad to assist you with whatever you need. They do have high tops, a few booths and several tables on the patio out front.

They do have wings and several other things on the menu, and they even had what looked to be homemade cheesecake in the dessert case, but we were too full to try it. I look forward to going again and saving a little rom for that cherry cheesecake, or maybe even, the chocolate chip one! Yumm-O!

Oops! I took a bite before I remembered to take the pic. 😂

The desserts were amazing; however, I’m partial to the key lime pie at another location. All in all, this

Our party ordered red fish, hog fish, blackened Mahi, chicken fingers and fries. The tea isn’t sweetened, as is usual in the Keys; so, just go ahead and order water with lemon or a coke. All the fish tastes fresh, and the wait staff are pretty friendly. We encountered one who was not so much, but she only seated us; so, we got beyond it pretty quick. We dis have their key lime pie for dessert, but I’ve had better elsewhere.
