Seasons 52
Location: Buford, Ga
Ok so, if you have followed my Tuesday’s Treats, you know that I don’t usually review franchises because these are pretty common and vary mainly depending upon the managers. However, this particular franchise is not in every season, and before this one, I had never been to once, much less heard of it very often. So, I’m going to make an exception to my “no franchise rule,” and take a moment to tell you about this place. It’s just that good! 😉

A few pics of which I didn’t get a pic are the salmon, the lobster bisque, and the naked burger. The salmon is served with sautéed green beans (a little crunchy), and marbled potatoes. The burger is served with no bun and a small salad, but we get it with a bun and ask for a side of the marbled potatoes. The lobster bisque is creamy and full of lobster and crab. All of this is SO SO good!!
The other day, I ordered the corn wheels and grits to go along with the salmon. Oh. My. Goodness! I overindulged myself, and it was AMAZING!

From the top, spiraling downward, the options were key lime pie, peanut butter torte, pecan pie (x2), espresso panda cotta, Belgian Chocolate S’mores, strawberry cheesecake, and key lime pie (again). They also have a cookies n’ cream and a raspberry chocolate chip cannoli, but these all suited us just fine! Oh. My. Word!! We are prickly about key lime, but this one has the perfect mixture of tart key lime and rich graham cracker crust, and that caramelized whip cream on top is just delectable! The espresso will be a delight to coffee lovers everywhere. Our boys loved the S’mores and the strawberry cheesecake. Oh, and the pecan pie was a bit too sweet, but the pecans were so good, and the added crust was as if I’d snuck a bit of grandma’s homemade pecan pie.
We left on this particular day needing to be rolled out of the restaurant like a barrel! But we did leave full and very satisfied! 😂
Oh wow about the mini indulgences 😮😊

Thank you for taking your job of reporting on these tasty treats so seriously to indulge in all these treats to enlighten us … the pepperoni flatbread has me salivating as well as the assorted desserts. I’d have to be rolled away as well!

They were all so delightful!! … my only disappointment is we went there again today, and they’ve changed the key lime topping! 😕 They took away the caramelized meringue and added simple whip cream. The whip cream is tasty, but it’s too sweet and pales in comparison to the meringue! 😩 They’re probably trying to save time and money, for those who’ve already had the other, it’s just not the same… oh well. Maybe I won’t have to be rolled out this! 😂😂

I know you have said in the best that key lime pie is your favorite dessert. My mom made hers with meringue too and with a chocolate crust. Wow – it’s been years since I had that pie. I hate when restaurants change a favorite item – you are right, less reason to roll you out the door this way. 🙂

Yes, The Florida Keys definitely spoiled us with the key lime pie endeavors, but this restaurant could have at least stuck with the original recipe with which they started. 😕 Oh well, I might just have to make my own! 😂 But I made a hear yummy chocolate pb squares this week. Oh my! Maybe I’ll just eat at home after all! 😂😂

I like peanut butter anything – I am very easy to please! Since I don’t bake, I do buy occasional sweets. I bought two small “Go Cups” of the Nutter Butters to share with the squirrels. That legitimatized my purchase since the squirrels needed a treat as it’d been awhile. 🙂

Oh, I bet the squirrels were excited with that. You’ve got friends for life right there…as long as you bring them snacks! 😂

Yes, they were pretty excited Mia – all that peanut butter wafting through the air and their noses at attention with an appreciative sniff. I may have a trail of squirrels following me around like the Pied Piper.

I looked, and the only one in NC is in Releigh. I didn’t check to see how far this one is from Waynesville.

Well, if it’s too far, you can just take a road trip to Georgia! 😉
